EuroCommerce is pleased to announce that Els Bedert, Director of Product Policy & Sustainability, will participate in a key event focused on the future of food systems, with a particular emphasis on ‘agri-food’. The event will delve into how effective dietary policies can be integrated into the upcoming Vision for Agriculture & Food.
The event is hosted by four Members of the European Parliament (MEPs)—Ms. Ripa, Mr. Castillo (both EPP), Ms. Borzan (S&D), and Ms. Metz (Greens/EFA).
The high-level discussion will aim to foster dialogue on aligning agriculture and health priorities to create a more sustainable and resilient food system.

Els works on food, non food and sustainability policies. She focuses on farm to fork and has led the sectors positioning on official controls, food safety, organic production, market surveillance, chemical regulation and more. Els is a Belgian national and alumna of Ghent University. She speaks Dutch, English and French.
